December is the trickiest month for me. The end of

December is the trickiest month for me. The end of year brings a flurry of client and new project requests, but it also is a month where I kind of want to close up my computer, decorate the house, spend as much time with my kids, do all the Christmasy things and not work... please tell me I’m not the only one?!

We also have a bit of traveling planned, a trip to Florida (partly for work, but mostly for fun!), time spent up north skiing, and Christmas activities in between.

I can’t be held responsible to consistently post on instagram in December (let’s be honest, I’m not a reliable poster any month of the year), but if I am radio silent, Ill talk to ya in January!

December is much later than I normally like to write down my new year goals... end of Q3 is really when I start my dreaming and planning. I guess small children, a fully booked client work calendar, and some December traveling has delayed things. But I did it. Here is a peek into what I am planning for the new year!

// Launch my template shop!!!!

// Outsource where I can - this means refine my pricing structure AND build a local network of other designers.

// Invest in a course to further my design education. I am eyeing a couple options but can't bite the bullet just yet

2023 was a pretty large growth year for me, and I am envisioning 2024 to be a bit more focused on refining that growth and making this business run like a well oiled machine. Easier said than done...
